Tip 2: Send a short, fun video to spread smiles and show familiar faces during uncertain times

It’s an uncertain time for everyone and a major transition for students, so sending a fun video from school staff they know can keep them connected to the school, while also providing some smiles and laughs.

We love the video West Carthage Elementary School sent out via ParentSquare, check it out here.

Their video titled “Wait, what?” showcased Mrs. Sweeney rushing out to greet kiddos for the day, only to be “reminded” that school is closed. She ended the video by saying she hoped students were awake, that they were missed and to stay tuned for more announcements. It’s only a 20 second video, but this small effort was greatly appreciated by parents and students!
