Fuller, Fresher, Better: Announcing ParentSquare's New Online Forms and Permission Slips

We are delighted to share with you that ParentSquare is taking a major step forward in our commitment to provide the best parent engagement platform.

We are fully redesigning and enhancing our online forms and permission slips.  Online forms and permission slips will be much fuller, fresher, and much, much better in 18-19 school year.

Here are some favorite highlights about the new forms and permission slips:

  • Add additional questions types to the forms to capture all the data you need
  • Customize signature consent text
  • View, print and export a report of all signed forms and permission slips
  • Mark completed forms manually
  • Send reminders to all users who have not submitted a completed form
  • Accept fees and payments online with your permission slips
  • Forms repository
  • Pre-built templates
  • Attachments with form submission

Here's a deeper dive into the new highlights:

  1. Adding multiple question formats to the form

    • Now, add multiple question formats to your form or permission slip. Choose whether you would like your parents to respond by short answer, paragraph, selecting one answer, selecting multiple answers, or by providing a date. This will allow you to gather tailored information to ensure that you have everything you need for your field trip to run smoothly.

  2. Customize signature consent text
    • We understand that every school district has its own legal consent text. Simply send us the legal text your school district uses and we'll add it to your district's main legal text.
  3. View, print and export a report of all signed forms and permission slips
    • Need to take a hard copy of completed forms with you? Easily view, print and export a report of all signed forms and permission slips to take with you.
  4. Mark completed forms manually
    • Have parents who have submitted a paper permission slip? No problem! Manually mark completed forms on ParentSquare to accurately keep track of those who have not submitted a form in person or online.
  5. Send reminders to all users who have not submitted a completed form
    • It's simple, with a click of a button, send a reminder to all parents who have not submitted a completed form.
  6. Accept fees and payments online
    • Optionally collect fees and payments online to help save parents time and hassle.
  7. Store all forms in the repository
    • Store and manage all forms that have been created in one central location. This will allow administrative assistants and teachers to easily pull and send all forms out.
  8. Pre-built templates
    • Choose from a variety of pre-built templates for every occasion, so you can build any form or permission slip in minutes, not hours.
  9. Attachments with form submission
    • Allow parents to send attachments as needed with any form submission.
