There are two types of users: those who want messages from school immediately and those that would rather have them consolidated into one email once a day. We have both options to accommodate those needs.
Instant vs Digest
Instant allows users to receive an email the minute the message is posted while Digest delivers all messages together at 6pm to their email. Note: App and Text users will always be Instant.

PS Tip – Override Notification Settings
There are times when you have an important message that can’t wait until the 6pm for digest users. You can override the digest setting by clicking on ‘Send immediately’ on the review post page.
